How It Works
At Fraction Royalty, we make it easy to sell mineral rights.
Our goal in every transaction is to make the process simple, fast, and transparent. Our team will quickly communicate with you during every step of the process. You’ll never be left in the dark wondering where things stand.
How the Fraction Royalty process works:
Step 1:
Submit Documentation
The most important step is providing your 3 most recent check statements. The check statements are what allows our company to analyze your ownership and provide you with an offer. A check statement will show the well names, volumes, ownership interest, and other important information. If you do not have your 3 most recent months of check stub detail, please contact the operator who pays you royalties. They can provide you with access to your statements online in PDF format. Important: We cannot provide you with an offer if we do not have your 3 most recent check statement details.
Step 2:
Receive Offer
After we receive your last 3 months of check detail, our team will put together a formal offer for you to consider. Your formal offer will be ready within 24 hours, and typically the same day you provide your documentation. This offer will be good for 7 days.
Step 3:
Accept Offer
If you decide to accept the offer, we will enter the due diligence period. This due diligence period gives our company time to verify the ownership, confirm taxes are current, etc.. In many cases, we close in 7 days or less. In rare cases we may need up to 30 days to run full title and confirm the ownership. The formal offer letter will specify how long we need to close.
Step 4:
Closing
Once the due diligence period has been completed, we will move forward to closing. We will provide you with a mineral deed. You will then sign and notarize the mineral deed and send the original to Fraction Royalty. Once the deed has been received, we will immediately transfer funds into your bank account.
